ADDITIONAL SERVICES

  • New tuition rates are in effect as of December 31st for all new applications and current families.
  • Early Drop off and Aftercare max capacity is 6 students per day.
    A late payment fee may be applied after the 2-day grace period following the 30th due date.
  • Teachers and NYC First Responders will be entitled to discount with proof of employment. Quarter months are March, June, September and December. Discount cannot be applied to July/ August except for sibling discount.
  • Sibling discount can only be applied if both students are enrolled in The Katmint. Reduction is applied to one applicant.
  • Referral discounts will be applied to one month of tuition ONLY. Referred applicants must complete an application online and be accepted to Katmint before the referral discount can be applied to a family.
  • Families on existing prepayment plans will pay agreed upon tuition until terms of prepayment have concluded.
  • Aftercare max capacity is 6 students per day.
  • Early Drop Off requires 24-48 hours notice.
  • Late drop off requires 24-48 hours notice. A maximum of 3 late arrivals with notice is allowed per month.
  • $85 ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE is non-refundable.
  • $85 APPLICATION FEE is non-refundable and separate from the registration fee.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

  • 5% Discount will be applied for all NYC teachers and first respondent employees (Nurses, Doctors, PO’s, etc.) on a quarterly basis.
  • Quarter months are March, June, September and December only.
  • 5% Siblings discount offered to students enrolled with the Katmint.
  • 5% Referral discount offered for one month. Referred parent should note referral on their application. Discount is offered once the referred family is enrolled.
  • The Prepayment Plan. 10% up to 20% discount offered for families who prepay a number of months in advance. There is a 4 family max annual participation. If you would like to sign up please note that on your child’s application.
  • Split payments are allowed for families who request by the 14th of the prior month before billing. This allows payments to be due on the 30th and 14th of the month.

FEE SCHEDULE

A $85 Application Processing Fee is due upon receipt of your child (s) application and is (Non–refundable).

  • Please make all checks payable to The Katmint.
  • There is an $85 annual child registration fee due upon acceptance of a seat (Non-refundable) and billed to your first month’s invoice.
  • A holding fee equivalent to 50% of the selected monthly tuition by a family will be required in order to secure a seat at the Katmint.
  • Tuition Payment and Holding Fee Agreements, will be emailed to the interested family, and cannot be rescinded or voided after 24 hours has passed. Signage and submission of payment are both due at the same time.
  • Holding fees are separate from the monthly tuition to be assessed.
  • The portion of the holding fee to be refunded will be issued July – September only.
  • Late Pick Up (Unauthorized or not scheduled) $5 Per Minute.
  • Late Drop Off (Unscheduled) after 9:15AM $1 Per Minute.
  • Late Payment 3% daily charge of total tuition.

Once current children and their siblings are placed, we then begin to take applicants from our waiting list. Applicants are selected based on classroom needs and selection is made with thoughtful consideration of the classroom dynamic and community, including class balance in terms of age and gender.
